Where are authors Sherman Alexie, Christopher Crutcher, Christopher Paul Curtis, Julie Halpern, James Lecesne, Nnedi Okorafor-Mbachu, Janette Rallison, Robert Sharenow and Sonya Sones going to be on Saturday, September 29? Well, if you guessed at Anderson’s Bookshops’ 4th Annual Young Adult Literature Conference you would be correct. Our day-long celebration of all the best books for Young Adult readers is set for Saturday, September 29 at Naperville’s Holiday Inn Select, 1801 N. Naper Blvd. Meet our acclaimed authors and speakers, participate in fascinating and motivating break-out sessions on a variety of subjects, enjoy a continental breakfast and plated lunch, and earn CPDU credits. Authors will be autographing books, and you may also win fun giveaways.

The conference runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is chock full of valuable information and opportunities to meet and share with fellow educators and lovers of children’s books. Fees are $95 for the entire day (a special $75 rate is offered to full-time students). Your payment is due at the time of registration and may be made by phone (630-820-2802 or toll-free at 800-728-0708). Payment may be made by check, credit card, or P.O. Space is limited, so please register early to avoid being disappointed.
