I have a similar problem.
Picture it: Florida, Black Lab, and white tile.
🙂
Yes, I know. I live in Chandler as well. That’s why we vacationed in Telluride this summer. Beautiful part of the country.
Enjoy your blog.
Oooh! I *want* a calico cat. Right now ours is black, and she shed more than usual this s and white. The calico in her litter was being kept, but we went ahead and got ours because she didn’t mind all the different ways that the two-year-old (at the time)picked her up. She is a very patient cat. The kids used to wear her on their head!
We do, however, have a calico dog. But it’s not the same. 🙂
Ah well, white reflects the heat better anyway, right?
The really amazing thing is how the color of fur sheaded changes according to what you’re wearing. With a white shirt, you happen to pick up the dark fur instead 🙂 Happy summer!
So true! She knew I was wearing black.
Even my short haired, tea-cup chihuahua sheds in the summer.
BTW your Website and Blog have a great look!

I kinda wish my kids would shed in the summer. They both need haircuts and I’m too cheap/lazy to get them done. *sigh*
It could be worst, when our cat wants to be fed it rubs against things untill they fall over.
I had to laugh at your picture. I usually end up arriving at work looking like this.

Ha ha ha! Oh I love it! My kitty is an indoor only and doesn’t shed that much at all! Of course her hair is also chocolate brown, so maybe it’s just not as noticable?
