Her whole life, Alexia Garcia has been told that she looks just like pop star Kari Kingsley, and one day when Alexia’s photo filters through the Internet, she’s offered a job to be Kari?s double. This would seem like the opportunity of a lifetime, but Alexia’s mother has always warned her against celebrities.
Rebelliously, Alexia flies off to L.A. and gets immersed in a celebrity life. Not only does she have to get used to getting anything she wants, she romances the hottest lead singer on the charts, and finds out that her own father is a singing legend. Through it all, Alexia must stay true to herself, which is hard to do when you are pretending to be somebody else!
I love the book make a second one PLEASE
You have great literary taste! If I have the time … who knows, maybe one day I will.
I just finished this book (started at 9pm and it’s now 5:15am stayed up all night couldn’t put it down!!!) I would love love love a part 2 as well! Even cooler that your from my husbands home town!
I’m proud to be the cause of your sleepless night! Do I know your husband? Or do we just share a home town?
What is your hometown Janette?
Please make a second one i finished it yesterday and I started reading it for the second time. I feel like a fell in love with Grant. I probably even have some ideas.
Well, I have a bunch of books lined up that I have to do before I can start my next project (Slayers 3, How I Met Your Brother, and the 4th Fairy Godmother book) but I’m always interested in hearing people’s ideas.
Please make a second book! I am so eager to find out what will happen to Alexia afterwards, especially since this is still my favorite book!
this book was awsome please i beg you i heart this book make another book pleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Please!!! I’m begging you to please write a sequel!!! Maybe from grants point of view? Or maybe could u write a few scenes from his point of view?! Thanks
The ebook has a couple of extra scenes that the book doesn’t, so if you haven’t read them, buy the ebook. Perhaps one day when I have lots of time, I’ll write even more to the story. But write now I’m busy with Fairy Godmothers and then I’ll write the third Slayes. (I love my job, just wish I was alotted a few extra writing hours every day.)
Just finished reading My Double Life. I know that it has already been said in the comments but please for all that is holy, please when you have a break write more about Alexis, Grant, Kari, Alex, and Sabrina. I enjoyed your story and writing style very much. Thank you and happy writing.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
i have read all the comments above as well and this book is so good and my inspiration to write and to read and do well in language arts and in literature and i know you may not have time now but, i would greatly appreciate it if you would even consider writing a second book sometime in the future
thank you for reading this and letting me have some of your time
your faithful reader,
grace
Thanks, Grace. Maybe someday I’ll have time to write a second book.
Four words. I love this book! I have so much fun imagining how Alexia was stunned at Kari’s reaction to their half-sister relationship. :3 MOARRRRRRRRRR I got really addicted too!
Glad you liked it! I hope you enjoy my other books too!
what is the main idea of the book? Also what point of view do you use? I love this book!
I’d say the main idea of the book is that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of fence. Alexia thought that her sister’s life would be better than her own because she had fame and fortune, but actually found that her sister had quite a few problems. Money and fame don’t always bring happiness. The pov is first person.
This story is so good!
I was hoping if the book comes in series!
I’m not sure if you read the physical book or the ebook, but if you haven’t read the ebook, it has some bonus scenes you’ll enjoy.
people called me a book-worm just because I loved to read after I finished this book, I read again. And now it’s the third time! At least my mom didn’t catch me reading!
🙂
I wish there was a series of this book
🙂
Ah, thanks!
